EN / A community center in service of the local population. A collage of intentions — a library to nurture the development and education of the younger generations, a place for gathering and exchange, an open facility to welcome visitors and echo age-old traditions and cultures. The volume draws from Amazonian vernacular architecture, from the Shabono and the Churuata. A perfect circle encloses a courtyard that is a garden — a space that protects and embraces, a new epicenter for the community. The construction is traditional yet modular, the materials are simple and drawn from the earth, the system repeated by addition. This strategy anchors the building to its context and allows for phased growth, adapted to the rhythm and needs of the community. We reforest the landscape. The project begins in the Amazon, seeking to strengthen the symbiotic relationship between the community and the ecosystem. A new community center, made from the past, looking towards the future.

ES / Un centro comunitario al servicio de la población local. Un collage de intenciones — una biblioteca para nutrir el desarrollo y la educación de las generaciones más jóvenes, un lugar de encuentro e intercambio, un equipamiento abierto que recibe a los visitantes y evoca tradiciones y culturas ancestrales. El volumen se inspira en la arquitectura vernácula amazónica, en el Shabono y la Churuata. Un círculo perfecto encierra un patio que es jardín — un espacio que protege y abraza, un nuevo epicentro para la comunidad. La construcción es tradicional pero modular, los materiales son simples y provienen de la tierra, el sistema se repite por adición. Esta estrategia ancla el edificio a su contexto y permite un crecimiento por fases, adaptado al ritmo y las necesidades de la comunidad. Reforestamos el paisaje. El proyecto nace en la Amazonía, buscando fortalecer la relación simbiótica entre la comunidad y el ecosistema. Un nuevo centro comunitario, hecho desde el pasado, mirando hacia el futuro.
